The Committee hereby give notice of an E.G.M to be held at Broad Oak Social Club on 23rd March at 7.30pm
The Proposals are listed below and focus entirely on Billiards ahead of the start of the season in early May. We need to do this as the AGM takes place during the Billiards season.
Anyone with an interest in Billiards is urged to attend please. The proposals have been very carefully considered by the Committee and wholly designed to protect a long term future for the game in our local area. The EGM debate will doubtless generate more detail and assist anyone with an interest in Billiards be it long term or if you are considering taking up the game for the first time. We also hope to encourage players back to the game who have not played in recent times.

PROPOSALS
- That with immediate effect the number of players for each team be reduced from 6 to 5.
2. That with immediate effect the 5 player rule be changed to 4 players and captains have unlimited usage of the rule throughout the season
Billiards Handicaps
3. That with immediate effect a players handicap be altered by plus or minus 5 after each league match played. Plus 5 for each match lost (up to a maximum of 125) and minus 5 for each match won. Should a player play twice under 4 player rule then only the first match played will be counted.
4. Billiards Competitions :- In conjunction with proposal No. 3 – that with immediate effect a players handicap will be determined at each round draw date and remain unaltered until the next round draw date.

5. That with immediate effect the home players will play with the yellow ball and away players will use the white ball.
