Members are reminded that Mobile Phones must NOT be used during a match. It has been reported to me that some members have been more interested in their mobile phones than focusing on refereeing. This is unacceptable and contravenes Rule 16a. In future members must pay due attention to refereeing a match properly.

EGM – Members are reminded that there is an EGM on 23rd March at Broad Oak Social Club. The meeting will focus on some changes to Billiards designed to encourage more members to play. On that note I invite any member to contact me if they have an interest in playing Billiards this year. The Committee are working hard to encourage more take up for Billiards. It is pleasing to hear that some of you are looking to play this year but we would still like to see more.
I along with Harry Yard would be more than happy to visit your club to run through the rules of Billiards and some of the basics of the game. In the past these presentations have proved quite successful so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like us to visit.
