Delighted to announce that the fixtures for the coming season have been added to this website. We welcome 5 new teams, 4 from Topspot and 1 from Cosham Conservatives.

The League will start on 10th September although 3 teams will be playing home matches on Tuesdays due to table availability. Captains must make careful note of the Tuesday fixtures and plan ahead.

Postponed matches were an issue last season so to mitigate this I have set aside the 17th Dec as a catch up week. In essence this will mean a 3 week Christmas Break for most teams. Also the Peter Rook Cup Quarter and Semi Finals have been slotted in on Thursday dates towards the end of the season. This also opens up opportunities to catch up on matches for those teams not involved. I do expect Captains to mange the fixtures closely and rearrange postponed matches quickly.

Slightly revised Scoresheets are being sent out although I hope by now most of you have the new stock.

Competitions
Handicaps are almost signed off and should be on view this coming Friday. Ioan Moon & Pete Gorvin will be in touch soon to explain how to register for the various Competitions.

A nice long Snooker Season awaits us all. I’m very much looking forward to seeing you across the Green Baize in the coming weeks/months. You all give me and the Committee great support which is always very much appreciated.
