Thank you to all captains and players for making the first week of the new restart league go so smoothly. Also extended thanks to all your clubs for welcoming you back to the baize.

All results were posted on the WhatsApp group in good time so please lets keep that going as it makes mine and Steve Toms life much easier.

Don’t forget you can register new players via me at any time free of the usual £5 fee. The more players we get the merrier as we move to hopefully normality next year. Fingers crossed anyway!

Many of you will know that Graham Simper has decided to step down as Results Secretary after more than 50 years in the role. Graham has set down countless memories in local news print over the years and will be missed from his role. On the upside he will continue to be part of the committee offering much experience at future meetings. Magic stuff Graham and hope all will share with me in our sincere thanks for all you have done over the years. Going forward the role will be in the safe hands of Steve Toms who also needs those results posted straight after the matches have ended.
